I have been busy designing new patterns and raising one crazy puppy we call Ruby Sue, which has brought pattern releases down in frequency quite a bit. For that I greatly apologize! I thought I might attempt to make it up to you with a free crochet pattern on this lovely spring day.

For my design sample, I used Lion Brand Mandala Ombre in the Tranquil colorway. I absolutely loved working with this yarn. It is so soft and easy to work with, and the color changes are just perfection! When I had originally released the Friendship Triangle Scarf, one of my crochet friends asked me how they would go about making it bigger in order to have a shawl. This question inspired me to design a shawl, and add a little bit of difference in the texture for the Friendship Triangle Shawl.
