The Windows and Walls Shawl was super fun to design, and I know you will have lots of fun making yours. The repeats are easy to remember, making this a great project to work on as you are being mindful, praying, or just watching your favorite movie. You will need worsted weight yarn in your favorite colorway and a 5.5mm crochet hook.
The Woven Winter Blanket is the perfect pattern to make yourself something cozy this winter. It is available by itself, or you can choose to purchase the Woven Winter Bundle which includes both the Woven Winter Blanket and the Woven Winter Pillow patterns at a discounted price vs. buying individually.
My new Candy Cane Cowl pattern is great for an intermediate crocheter. It can be a little bit tricky to get started, but once you get the hang of it, the cowl will work up very quickly. You will want to grab your favorite DK (3 weight) yarn in 2 colors and a 5mm crochet hook, plus you will want to have at least 2 stitch markers handy for this project. I used KnitPicks Swish DK, courtesy of WeCrochet for my design sample.
This pillow rocks! The texture is great, and the prefabricated pillow form I purchased at the Walmart fits snugly inside which makes the pillow fluffier and stiffer than the rest of our old throw pillows that we have loved maybe a little too much over the years. You will need 3 colors of your favorite worsted yarn. I used KnitPicks Brava, courtesy of WeCrochet. You will also need a pillow form. I purchased a 2 pack from Walmart for about $10.00.
What I love about the Velvet Twist hat is that the velvet yarn makes it cozy, but the design has built in ventilation so your head won't get too hot. The hat is worked from the bottom up and uses an elastic hair tie at the top to keep it snugly over your hairdo.
